If you're looking for quality, you can't go wrong with Brooklinen or Parachute bedding, both of which are well-made and well-priced thanks to their direct-to-consumer business models. For something a bit more budget-friendly, consider Target.
Everyone's bedding preferences are different, but at the very least you'll need a fitted sheet, pillowcases, and a cover of some sort. In Europe, it's more common to forego a flat sheet and use a removable, washable duvet cover instead. This is becoming a popular approach in the U.S. as well, which is reflected in the retailers on our list that offer sheet sets without a top sheet. A more traditional American sheet set will include a fitted sheet, top sheet, and one or two (depending on bed size) pillowcases. If you prefer to sleep with more pillows, be sure to order extra pillowcases or matching shams.
Parachute has expanded beyond bedding in recent years, but the main attraction is still sheets and bedroom essentials. The Cali-based brand is best known for giving customers the option to forgo a top sheet and for featuring a range of materials to choose from. Not only can you find the usual percale and sateen cotton, but you can also buy sheets in brushed cotton, organic cotton, and linen.
Those who appreciate luxurious bedding are certainly familiar with Boll & Branch. Known for their sheets (including flannel and percale options), the brand has incredible bedding for every room in your house, including the nursery. A favorite pick? The Flannel Bonfire Stripe Sheet Set, which features elegant geometric lines and the ultimate bedding luxury: a wrinkle-free design.
Snowe is one of our favorite up-and-coming attainable luxury brands. With a range of home essentials that are made to last, the brand is expensive but worth the splurge. Its commitment to quality is especially evident in the bedding offerings, particularly the linen sheet set, which is made using a special air-washing technology for extra softness. Aside from linen, they also make percale and sateen sheets.
The secret to a good night's sleep? Comfortable and cute bedding that is just your style and made with quality and sustainability in mind. Snuggle up with your favorite designs and materials to keep your cozy level just right, night after night. Adding some breakfast in bed never hurts, either!
Quality mattresses and pillows are a worthwhile bedding investment, but like most investments they need to be protected. To help keep your bed fresh and clean for as long as possible, always be sure to have a mattress protector and pillow protectors in place. These will help protect against sweat, accidents and spills, and can be easily washed with the rest of your bedding.
Our affordable, easy-care sheet bedding sets come complete with fitted sheet, top sheet and pillow cases, with individual options available as well if you prefer to mix-and-match. Find the perfect fit for your bed with twin, full/double, queen, king and twin extra long sheets in a wide selection of colors and patterns.
But you can do everything possible to provide a 5-star experience for your Airbnb guests and today I want to talk about Airbnb bedding! Why listen to me? Well, to put it simply, our guests love our beds and bedding and mention how comfortable they are in so many of our Airbnb reviews!
I wish it was as easy as just picking out something cute and making a bed but there is a lot more to think about before buying your Airbnb bedsheets, comforters, and even the bed itself. So, here are some things to think through before adding that cute bedding to your shopping cart!
When deciding on what bedding you want to use in your rentals, your first order of business should be a chat with your cleaning service. Why? Because if they also launder your bedding they are probably going to be very specific about what works best for them. For example, I had all of this cute bedding picked out for our condos (and was even ready to splurge for Beddys for the bunk beds) and then my cleaners told me to do all white! I was caught off guard because white is very unforgiving. But they said it is much easier to bleach and I ended up really liking how bright and fresh it looked in my condos.
My cleaners also told me that they prefer that I use a duvet insert + duvet cover setup versus a heavy-duty comforter or quilt. A coverlet was an option but I wanted something that felt cozy for my guest and had some substance to it and often find the thin coverlets to look flat and cheap. Oftentimes, cleaning companies rotate between 2-3 full sets of linens, taking the dirty ones with them to wash between guests, so bulky bedding is both cumbersome plus can take a very long time to dry, holding up their workflow.
The key is that your bedding is both clean and cozy. And I do think I found a great combination. However, if you are targeting a more expensive market or luxury experience you may want to consider other options.
So, now I want to share the exact combination of bedding that I use in all of our vacation rentals on 30A. As I mentioned above, we use all white and have been happy with it but I think your cleaning company is critical in making that decision. I actually sent the owners of our cleaning company links to everything and she had the ability to order more as needed and add the cost to my monthly bill.

Love the easy tutorial on layering the bed. The bed looks so welcoming, and I love the idea of adding a bed tray to a guest bed for that extra touch of hospitality! Very pretty, I would be happy to be a guest in your home!
I know what what you mean, Rebecca! My bed is a queen and so are is all the bedding because I want the quilt etc to fall just below the mattress. My master bed is a queen too and we buy queen sheets and king quilts and duvets.
Excellent tips definitely worth implementing. The properly made bedding can provide a whole new look to your room. The tips you mentioned in the article will surely going to help me out to layer bedding like a designer. Keep writing more articles like this!Jenny Mark
The bed surely takes up most of the space and also as the main attraction, the centre of attention of any bedroom, unless you have a super large bedroom! So yes it is important to have it as beautiful as possible. But then I have to manage to fit all the beautiful stuff within my budget, which is suck. Finding the right colour while constantly worrying about the price is not a pretty feeling while out shopping! Beautiful choice of colour you got there, the bed seem super cozy! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much Yvonne! I actually did it in correct order and manner. You did help to boost my confidence. Now, bedding decor is a joy and I am happy! Will be investing in more bed linen sets and comforters. Now I will be able to show off my bedroom! Looking forward to doing my own comforters, too!
I also keep {this pretty clock} within reach because we have some guests (my parents included) who still prefer to use a clock instead of their cell phones to check on the time and I love the classic design of this one.
Each of these ideas is pretty small and simple but putting them all together is what I think makes our guest room a welcoming, comfy place that our family and friends enjoy while staying with us (and that help get them back for future visits!). I hope you all enjoyed the post and got a few ideas for sprucing up your guest bedding before your next guests come for a visit too!
And perhaps an understated piece of the comfort puzzle when it comes to 5 star hotels is the bedding. We can all tell the difference between rough feeling polyester and high quality cotton. And luxury hotels around the world often indulge their guests with incredibly high thread count cotton for the ultimate in comfort.
Percale is probably the best bedding material for most people. The design of the weave makes them soft and durable, and they're especially good at keeping you cool while you sleep. Peru Pima's take on percale is made extra-long-staple, which explains their slightly higher price. Because they're percale, the sheets will get better with wear and washing. As one reviewer writes, these sheets are "crisp, delightful and a joy to sleep in year after year."
Linen sheets are going to be pricey no matter where you buy them. These Dapu sheets, however, are a good value for one of the most luxurious types of bedding. The linen is made from French flax that was grown and processed without chemicals. Before they're sold, the sheets are stone washed to make them soft while also giving them a nice worn-in look.
Flannel is a great material for bedding in the cooler months. Like your favorite flannel shirt, flannel bedding is warm, cozy and soft. These sheets from Bare Home are everything good about the cold-weather material. They're double brushed for softness and built to last thanks to tightly stitched threads.
These days, it seems most people prefer thicker mattresses, which can be troublesome to find good sheets that fit. These CGK sheets have deep pockets, which basically mean there's more fabric to wrap around the mattresses without it coming undone. They're available in 20 colors, and they're a pretty good deal, too.
Featuring hydrangea, hollyhock, daylily, Rugosa beach rose, and honeysuckle, this botanical pattern is so chic, parents might want to steal it for themselves. The kids bedding set includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase.
Washing your bedding regularly keeps it hygienic and helps it last. And yet, just like your favorite t-shirt and most beloved pair of sneakers, there comes a time when your bed linens need to be replaced. Think about it: the time you spend using the materials is almost like wearing the same clothes every day for several years. Sooner or later, they'll lose their original integrity. 781b155fdc
